Carol Bennett
Carol Bennett has lived on the island of
Kauai in the Aloha state since 1990.
Combine that with growing up in
Los Angeles, and it’s no surprise that
Carol’s work is focused on water.

Her work is in the permanent  collections
of the Hawaii State Art Museum, Hawaii
State Foundation on Culture and the Arts,
the Contemporary Museum, and the Honolulu Academy of the Arts.

For over 20 years she painted women-in-water; swimmers. But when her son started surfing, her work began to deal
with men-on-water. The "Surfer Series" deals with the history and energy of Hawaiian surfing.
