The US President and First Lady have had a psychic shift on the art world, moving artists to incorporate Obama imagery into their work.

J. Lucas Gallery presented "Icons & Art: Michelle & Barack," September 25-October 25, 2009. Included in this exhibit are works from 25 artists
at all levels, as well as two inspiring pieces from an adult art therapy program.

The show focuses on how the Obamas have seemingly overnight changed the rules in America. Whether it's issues of race, politics or war, this
exhibit shows that artists around the globe are expressing their feelings through iconic Obama work.

Opening Night
The show opened Friday night, Sept. 25 and was a huge success, with many of the artists from around the county making the trip to Provincetown.
